Do you have that all-important keynote or presentation coming up?
Don’t leave it to chance, work with Andrew to maximise your impact…
This program is tailored to your individual needs and is run over 4-6 sessions, which are designed to create the best possible experience for the Keynote audience, whilst giving the presenters an opportunity to gain some great insight and skills along the way.
The process is based on face-to-face and virtual sessions and typically works like this
Session One Initial call and script run-throughs
We get a baseline for where presenters are at, how confident they are and how well the script is sitting with them… presenting someone else’s script can fall short if the presenter doesn’t really connect with it. So we help workshop this, provide scripting support where needed and call out anything that will not resonate with the audience – typically some phrases and case examples etc
If the presentation is based around 2 or more presenters, then we also look at the handoffs from one to another.
Session Two – In Person Rehearsal
This session is usually the first time we come together in the same space to deliver this keynote. During the day we work with autocue /teleprompt if present, fine-tune any slides in the presentation if needed and really ensure that there is a good flow of energy throughout the presentation. This is really where we push beyond simply “presenting the script” … Light and shade, tempo and phrasing, and how the presenters engage with each other and connect with the audience are key focuses
Session Three – Rehearsal On Stage
On stage we run the presentation looking at audience engagement and stage blocking, then add in technical production etc. Typically 4 run-throughs.
Session Four – Show Day
We run through the presentation on stage with full production, and opportunity for some final notes and then your time to shine on stage! This session is about the final little touches and the support and encouragement energetically to move from nerves to excitement and being able to hold the audience from the moment you enter the stage to the moment you exit.
The above provides an overview of how sessions typically work. Depending on the needs of the presenter, however, this can be tailored to provide specific support and presentation development.
